Day 2: Kampala/Entebbe – Murchison Falls National Park via Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary (4 – 6 hours)
Set off early, heading northwest wards on the Kampala–Gulu highway. Stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, about three and a half hours from Kampala, for your rhino tracking experience. Ziwa is home to Uganda’s only population of rhinos and the only place in Uganda where
tourists can visit them in their natural habitat. Accompanied by an armed ranger, you’ll walk through the bush to observe these magnificent white rhinos at close range – usually a 1 to 2 hour guided trek. This activity contributes directly to rhino conservation and offers a
complete Big Five safari viewing experience.
After rhino tracking, continue to Murchison Falls National Park and on arrival, drive to
